Can tonsilitis only affect one side of the throat?

Tonsilitis does really make you violently ill baby,But you have to get to a doc and get this checked out.I know what your going through,my little guy goes through this,but of course you already know that.Could be badly infected,you have to get some antobiotics! hope you get better soon,I'm a great nurse you know;)I have a great bedside manner...xxx
