Giving up parental rights?

my ex is wanting me to give up my rights, she said that if i do she will stop all back and future child support. can she legally do this or is it left up to the attorney generals office. she wants this and propositioned me to do so. I have a court hearing in March she said I will not have to appear nor worry about any future obligations. This is in the state of Texas.
