What are some really good creepy/eerie/suspenseful horror movies?

Not any that are excessively gory (The Hills Have Eyes, Saw, Texas Chainsaw Macre, etc.). Ones that will give you the chills and/or make you sit on the edge of your seat because they are so eerie (such as the Shining). Suggestions?
