Would it be ok to store leftover iodine in a plastic baggie? Why or why not.?

It is NOT really OK since iodine can easily sublime or turn into gas when exposed to open air. Better use a tightly sealed brown bottle for storage so that you can ensure that it would not easily turn into gas.
