Girls help me out!!!?

Okay so I'm a guy needing some help from you girls. So i asked this one girl to a banquet which is a dance and she said yes and when we were texting she said she was nervous becuz im really cute, shes not goin to know anybody there, and she doesnt know how to dance. So then a week b4 banquet she stops txting me and i cant get a hold of her. So i go on myspace and ask her whats wrong and asked if shes grounded and all she replied back was thats shes grounded and cant do anything but didnt say she could go to banquet so i asked her but she hasnt been on myspace yet. So i was going throw some bullitens and i saw one and it was posted during a day b4 she told me she was grounded and said she was at her grandpas and said txt me. so idk if shes trying to avoid me or what. any girl know what she might be doing? Plzz help i have the banquet tomorrow
