Explain how eukaryotic chromosomes are copied and how this differs from bacterial chromosomes?

I am really confused about what this question is asking because it is on a DNA replication study guide so I don't think it is referring to meiosis or mitosis and I'm not sure if it is referring to DNA replication in which bacteria have one origin of replication and eukaryotes have many. So I'm just confused. When DNA replicates does the chromosome that DNA molecule was in replicate too?
