Is a Cheetah/lion hybrid(Cheeton) possible?

Well they were able to make ligers, so it could be possible to make a cheetah/lion hybrid but not naturally. It would probably have to be made by in vitro fertilization (where they put the fertilized egg into the mother). But Ligers are sterile so it a "Cheeton" could have that same trait. It would also be messing with laws of nature that we cant even understand and probably shouldnt tempt
